PISTE PLEASURE
The slopes sparkle year after year
... as do the eyes of visitors who can hardly wait to enjoy the countless possibilities. Those who choose AMARIL for a South Tyrol skiing holiday can enjoy six ski areas for every level within a maximum journey of one hour.
SCHNALSTAL GLACIER SKI AREA
Three seasons, one ski season
The ski season on the Schnalstal glacier starts as early as September and lasts until the beginning of May. With the highest cable car in South Tyrol, you can reach the snow-sure slopes at an altitude of over 3,000 metres from the village of Kurzras within a few minutes.
MERAN 2000
Above the roofs of the spa town
The mostly easy to moderately difficult pistes and the clarity of the ski area make Meran 2000 the ideal destination. Sun-drenched mountain hut terraces invite you to stop for a break, and the view stretches from the Ortler group to the Dolomites.
SKI AREA SULDEN
On the snowy side
The Sulden glacier ski area with its fun park, pistes and deep snow slopes rises up to 3,250 metres above sea level and is considered the most snow-sure ski area in South Tyrol. At the heart of the Stilfserjoch National Park, magnificent panoramic downhill runs of every level of difficulty await you.
SKIING AREA TRAFOI
Carve your way like Gustav Thöni
Trafoi lies at the foot of the Ortler. There is still a bustling atmosphere on the slopes, where skiing legend Gustav Thöni made his first turns. There are hardly any waiting times at the lifts and beginners feel just as much at home as experienced skiers.
SKIING AREA WATLES
The sunniest ski area in South Tyrol
The adventure mountain Watles is a small ski area that promises lots of adventures. In the border triangle of the Obervinschgau region you will be rewarded with a particularly large number of hours of sunshine. The four wide, predominantly intermediate pistes are particularly well suited for families.
SKIING AREA SCHÖNEBEN-HAIDERALM
Downhill runs in the border triangle
The sunny skiing area Schöneben-Haideralm stretches along the Reschen Pass between South Tyrol, North Tyrol and the Engadin valley. On the wide pistes with a view of the Lake Reschen, it is mainly pleasure skiers who glide along, while snowboarders and freeskiers let off steam in the snow park.
